Enough! Productivity For Feminists

Enough! Productivity for Feminists is a new group coaching programme offering an alternative to the macho, neoliberal, how-to-suck-as-much-productivity-as-possible-out-of-the-day-so-you-can-contribute-to-the-knowledge-economy-and-advance-your-career mode of thinking. We focus as much on the being as the doing, experimenting with skills and strategies while keeping our sanity and values at the forefront.

The heart of the programme is small-group coaching to build awareness, support and solidarity. The group coaching is supported with optional one-on-ones, exercises, accountability buddies and a book club.

Together, we create a space for reflection, connection, resistance and change.

Essential programme components: Six group coaching sessions.

Optional programme components: Accountability buddies (arranged by Laura, then self-directed); book club (facilitated by Laura); and one 30-minute one-to-one session with Laura.

Who: The 2021 pilot programme will run with ten participants, five in each small group. Based on initial expressions of interest, it looks like most will be women*, but male and non-binary feminists are very welcome.

When & Where: There will be a Monday group, a Wednesday group, and a joint book club. All sessions will be held on Zoom. Specific dates & times found at the bottom of this page.

Content: The programme will be structured around participants’ interests and goals, gathered through enrolment interviews before the programme starts. Possible topics include (but are not limited to):

  • analog v digital organisation

  • time off
  • rest & restoration
  • saying yes / saying no
  • making decisions
  • habits
  • affirmations
  • gremlins / inner critics
  • insides & outsides
  • being liked

Yes, it’s a long list. There are so many possible ways in to these big questions, and this is one of the things that distinguishes Enough! It is not a formula or prescription; it is a framework for experimenting, changing, and resisting.

Cost: The cost is £345, to be paid directly to Laura by bank transfer or PayPal, with necessary paperwork provided for those seeking reimbursement from their employers. Deposit of £100 due to reserve your space. Your deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind before 11th January and Laura is able to find someone to fill your space. Balance of £245 due by 18th January. No concessions offered for this pilot programme, as it is offered at a reduced rate, but payment by installments can be arranged.

To Enroll: Email indicating whether you would like to join the Monday or the Wednesday group. Laura will invoice you and arrange a 20-minute enrolment interview with you (this interview is in lieu of sending you an enrolment questionaire).

Dates for Monday Group: Jan 18th 1-3 pm; Jan 25th 1-2 pm; Feb 8th 1-2 pm; (Tuesday!) Feb 23rd 1-2 pm*; Mar 8th 1-2 pm; Mar 22nd 1-3 pm (*Laura has a prior commitment for meditation teacher training on Monday Feb 22nd).

Dates for Wednesday Group: Jan 20th 1-3 pm; Jan 27th 1-2 pm; Feb 10th 1-2 pm; Feb 24th 1-2 pm; Mar 10th 1-2 pm; Mar 24th 1-3 pm.

Dates for Book Club: Feb 3rd 8-9 pm; Feb 17th 8-9 pm; Mar 3rd 8-9 pm; Mar 17 8-9 pm. The book list will be available by the 18th of December. Having read the whole book is optional. Wine is encouraged.
